Purified recombinant Human IL11 protein Expression System: E.coli Bioactivity: The ED50 was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of Mouse T11 cells is ? 2.0 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of ? 5 x 10^5 units/mg.
IL11 is a multifunctional cytokine produced by stromal cells such as fibroblasts, epithelial cells and osteoclasts. It is expressed in a wide variety of tissues including thymus, lung, bone, connective tissue and central nervous system. IL11 plays an important regulatory role in hematopoiesis by stimulating growth of myeloid, erythroid and megakaryocyte progenitor cells. It also regulates bone metabolism, inhibits production of proinflammatory cytokines and protects against gastromucosal injury. Alternative Names: AGIF protein, IL-11 protein, IL-11, IL11, IL-11 protein, Interleukin 11 protein, Adipogenesis inhibitory factor protein, IL 11, IL 11 protein
