Blocking Peptide (BP), Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
产品特性
This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PIR antibody (Catalog #: ARP33664_T100). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

背景
PIR is a member of the cupin superfamily. The protein is an Fe(II)-containing nuclear protein expressed in all tissues of the body and concentrated within dot-like subnuclear structures. Interactions with nuclear factor I/CCAAT box transcription factor as well as B cell lymphoma 3-encoded oncoprotein suggest the protein may act as a transcriptional cofactor and be involved in the regulation of DNA transcription and replication. This gene encodes a member of the cupin superfamily. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
