His Tag 抗体
- Protein Purification: His-tagged proteins can be purified using a technique called immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). In this method, a column containing metal ions (usually nickel or cobalt) is used to capture His-tagged proteins, which bind to the metal ions through the histidine residues. Antibodies that recognize the His tag can also be used in the purification process to ensure the specificity of the captured protein.
- Protein Detection: Antibodies that specifically bind to His tags are used in techniques such as Western blotting and ELISA to detect the presence of His-tagged proteins in a sample. The antibody is typically conjugated with a detectable marker (such as an enzyme or a fluorescent molecule) that allows visualization and quantification of the target protein.
