TrueBlot® Antibodies, Kits, Tools
TrueBlot® is a monoclonal secondary antibody by Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. that detects only the fully native, non-denatured form of immunoglobulins. Consequently, it detects only the primary antibody used to detect the protein of interest in the Western blot and not the additional heavy and light chains of the IP antibody that reaches the gel as part of the immunoprecipitation contaminants. TrueBlot® technology is used in a wide variety of products: antibodies, beads, kits and other tools are available.

TrueBlot® monoclonal Secondary Antibodies
Take advantage of the unique properties of TrueBlot® monoclonal secondary antibodies to achieve accurate, reproducible, sensitive, and low-background detection of target proteins in Western blots, especially when you need to generate publication-quality Westerns or detect immunoprecipitated (IP) proteins! TrueBlot secondary antibodies are highly specific. They detect only native, unreduced IgG, optimize detection of the primary antibody, and reduce background signal from antibodies used prior to SDS-PAGE, such as during IP.
Benefits of TrueBlot® Secondary Antibodies
TrueBlot® monoclonal secondary antibodies detect the native, non-reduced form of IgG over the reduced form of IgG in a variety of species. For Western blot experiments of immunoprecipitated proteins (IP–Western blot) TrueBlot® secondary antibodies massively reduce the interference caused by the heavy and light chain of the immunoprecipitating antibody. TrueBlot® secondary antibodies therefore allow you to detect your protein of interest without heavy/light chain interference.
- Only detect your target protein
- Multipe Conjugates available
- Suitable for non-IP Western blot experiments as well
- Ideal for studying post-translational protein modifications (e.g., phosphorylation, acetylation) and protein-protein interactions

TrueBlot® Western Blot Kits
TrueBlot® Western blot kits contain all critical reagents, buffer solutions, substrates for Western blotting and immunoprecipitation of samples. The TrueBlot® Second Step immunoblotting reagents are used in combination with the user's own IP antibody or WB antibody.
TrueBlot® IP Beads and Magnetic Beads
The TrueBlot® Immunoprecipitation beads are specifically designed, tested, and quality-controlled to provide optimal results in the capture and purification of targets from cell lysates and serums. They show excellent binding capacities. They are stable, pre-blocked beads for cleaner purifications. Species-specific Ig IP beads are available in an agarose or magnetic bead format. Various magnetic beads for general use, conjugated with protein A, protein G, streptavidin or biotin are available.
